Saturday Inspiration - Blue Jeans

Picture Source - Fashion Is My Attitude

Pink lips & Blue jeans

Happy Saturday. Today we have such a cloudy day with no sunshine what-so-ever I guess we are living in the last day of summer and winter is starting to greet us. "Hello Winter :-)"
I love the colour blue and if I can overdoes on that so be it.
Blue shoes, jeans and jackets one cannot go wrong with that. Right?
Do have a lovely weekend.

Celebrating Zanele's Birthday

Hi Guys, last weekend we celebrated Zanele's Birthday (not mine but another Zanele a friend of mine). I had fun with my sister and everybody.
 Thanks for the invite girl.
P.S. Pictures were taken with my old Samsung S3 but the quality did not come out to bad as they have not been filtered at all.
Till next year.

Ready-To-Wear Collections Series

Happy Friday, today I was doing a bit of some internet stalking and I've noticed that a lot of designers are now creating ready to wear looks which is great for us the consumers. Affordable fashion high end collections would even be better (just a thought).
We are saying hello to Autumn 2015 in South Africa and I'm preparing to expand my coat collection this year so I came across Alexander McQueens Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 Ready-to-wear collection, even though the prices are beyond my reach at present but I will take the looks as part of my inspiration.
The below pictures are showing some of Mr Alexander McQueens Autumn/Winter 2015/2016 Ready-to-Wear Collection and I hope that they can also inspire you.

You are invited - Red My Lips 2015

Hi guys. A friend of mine sent me an invite to this Campaign via Facebook and I'm paying it forward and inviting everyone.

Red My Lips is an international nonprofit organization that uses red lipstick as a weapon and a tool to raise awareness about sexual violence, combat rape myths and victim-blaming, and demonstrate solidarity and support for ALL survivors.
Supporters, which we call 'Warriors,' wear red lipstick all throughout April (Sexual Assault Awareness Month) to raise awareness and funds. This is not about VANITY. It's about VISIBILITY. (Kind of like Movember...minus the brilliantly creepy 'staches.) Spread the word that RAPISTS are responsible for RAPE...not drinking, short skirts, or makeup.

Sexual violence is NOT a WOMEN'S ISSUE. It is a HUMAN ISSUE. It affects us ALL.

You can still participate!

Since our symbol is red lips, we encourage supporters to incorporate red lips is some (visible) way. Here are some of our favorite alternatives:
  •  Ask a loved one to give you a red lipstick kiss and leave it on your face each day. (Ask ONE time and respect their answer. This is a great opportunity to practice consent!)
  • Wear a RML temporary tattoo (if you have one)
  • Paint one nail red or (better yet!) paint red lips on your nails!
  • Wear clothes or accessories that have red lips or lip prints on them.
  • Print a large picture of red lips and put it on the back window of your car with the words "Red My Lips" and the website.
  • Wear red lipstick for a photo and set it as your profile pic, making sure to link to the cause.
  • Leave a lipstick print on your dog and take them for a walk. :)

To learn more about our organization and get involved, please check out our website: and follow our main page, by clicking 'Like' here --> Red My Lips. You can also find us on Instagram and Twitter @redmylipsorg. And don't forget to tag us in your RML pics and use the hashtag: #redmylips!

Hello guys, we are in April now the 4th month of the year 2015 - How are your new years resolutions coming along?
Anywho not to stress you with that, it Spring time for some but for others like me in the Southern Hemisphere we are saying hello to Autumn.
A new season means it is a chance to start afresh and rework those goals.

April will be a good month for my blog since I will be at home most of the time thanks to the holidays. Speaking of holidays those that will be travelling this Easter please be safe on the roads.
